Banana Fairy

Banana Fairies are an item used in Donkey Kong 64. Technically not an item, they will be referred as that for ease. There main point of use is to unlock various extras accessible from the Main Menu. In order for a Kong to capture a Fairy, they must use the Banana Camera to "capture" a picture of the Fairy in film. There are 2 Fairies in each world and 4 Fairies in the DK Isles; once all 20 fairies have been captured on film, the Banana Fairy Queen will give the Kongs an extra Golden Banana, named the Rareware Banana by fans.
