Banana Medals is an item found in Donkey Kong 64. They are a special item obtained when a Kong collects 75 out of 100 regular Bananas. There is one for each Kong in every world, therefore making a total of 40 Banana Medals in total. The medals are obtained differently in the final world, Hideout Helm; instead of collecting Bananas, each Kong is required to defeat two Bonus Barrels to obtain a Medal.
