In the Games
Banjo-Kazooie
In Banjo-Kazooie, the bee transformation is performed by Mumbo Jumbo in Click Clock Wood at a cost of 25 Mumbo Tokens. When Banjo is in bee form, he can fly indefinitely and is protected from the Snarebear plants and can enter the beehive in Spring time, however, he cannot enter water. The effects of the bee transformation spell only last in the Sping season and the lobby of Click Clock Wood (in Summer, Mumbo refuses because it's too hot, in Autumn he refuses because he is busy raking leaves, and in Winter he is gone on vacation).
The bee is also used to get a Witch Switch Jiggy in the Click Clock Wood lobby in Gruntilda's Lair.
Banjo-Tooie
In Banjo-Tooie, the bee transformation returns. In this game it is performed by Humba Wumba in Cloud Cuckooland for one Glowbo. As before, the bee can fly indefinitely, however, it also has the ability to fly faster (performed with the B button) and to shoot stingers (with the Z button). The bee transformation is required to enter the beehive and complete the shooting challenge within the time limit.
