Description
Beehives are living creatures with googly eyes. A variation is the Cursed Beehive.
In the Games
Banjo-Kazooie
In Banjo-Kazooie, a Beehive first appears in Mumbo's Mountain. The first time a Beehive is encountered, it tells Banjo to leave its honey alone. Beehives do nothing except move up and down and cannot defend themselves. They also release three Honeycombs, making them a good way to get free health fast. There is also a variation of Beehive that has bees swarming around it. The bees are normally docile, but if the Beehive is destroyed, they will fly after Banjo to attack him. The bees, however, can be defeated with the Wonderwing.
Banjo-Tooie
In Banjo-Tooie, Beehives reappear, although they are far less common. Introduced in this game are the Cursed Beehives, which are demonic Beehives that actually attack the duo. The variety of Beehives with bee swarms do not appear.
Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts (Cameo)
In Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, a Beehive appears as a statue in Banjoland.
Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge
In Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge, Beehives again appear, both the normal ones and the ones with bee swarms.
