In Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!, Bleak serves as the boss of the K3 world.
Boss fight
Bleak's fight uses the same gameplay style as Swanky Kong's Sideshow minigame. The player must have Dixie and Kiddy Kong avoid the snowballs Bleak throws while throwing snowballs of their own to hit the flashing button on his scarf. After they do this twice, he begins shooting larger snowballs out of his tophat like a cannon, shooting from the left to the right, then to the left, and finally to the right again. After this, he will make himself vulnerable, and the player must hit him with snowballs again. Doing this causes him to continue his barrage faster, using the same pattern as before. After this, he will again become vulnerable to thrown snowballs.
After this, he will begin his cannonball barrage again, starting with the same pattern as before, but after that pattern he will behind shooting multiple snowballs at once in various patterns. Hitting him once more will cause him to go back to his initial tactics of moving around and throwing small snowballs. Hitting him once more will cause him to go into his cannonball mode one final time. Avoiding all of his large snowballs and hitting him once more will cause him to explode, ending the fight.
Donkey Kong Land III
In Donkey Kong Land III, Bleak returns. This time he guards the Primate Plains.
Boss fight
Bleak's boss fight in Donkey Kong Land III is completely different from his previous fight. In this game, his battle happens on a normal sidescrolling viewpoint. Bleak stands on the left side of the arena and shoots giant snowballs from his top hat from the left side to the right. After doing this, a barrel will appear on the roof of his house. If the player hits him with the barrel, he will fire more snowballs. For each time he his hit, he will add more snowballs to his barrage. After being hit four times, Bleak is defeated and the battle ends.
