Boom Box is a baddy in the Banjo-Kazooie series.

Description

Boom Boxes are animated crates of dynamite with googly eyes and sharp teeth. Their name is a play on "boombox," a term referring to loud portable stereo systems.

In the Games

Banjo-Kazooie

In Banjo-Kazooie, Boom Boxes appear in Rusty Bucket Bay. They attack Banjo by bouncing over to him and exploding in front of him. Most normal physical attacks will kill Boom Boxes in one hit, although attacking them in this way will cause them to explode, harming Banjo as well. The safest way to dispose of them is by shooting Blue Eggs or using the Wonderwing.
