Chimpy is a minor character in the Banjo-Kazooie series.

Biography

Chimpy is a little monkey who lives in Mumbo's Mountain. Despite his name, he is not actually a chimpanzee (as he has a tail).

Banjo-Kazooie

In Banjo-Kazooie, Chimpy can be found sitting on a stump near Conga. Chimpy is hungry, and if the player picks a large orange from the tree where Conga is standing and gives it to him, he will run off, rewarding the pair with a Jiggy. In addition, by jumping on his vacated stump, the player can gain access to some ledges above so that they can learn egg-shooting, shoot Conga, and hit a Witch Switch.
