Chunky Kong is a main character in the Donkey Kong series.

Biography
Chunky is a gorilla. He is very large and possesses great strength, possibly even moreso than Donkey Kong. However, despite his physical prowess, he is somewhat dimwitted and is also relatively timid and easily frightened. He plays the Triangle Trample as an instrument and uses the Pineapple Gun as a weapon.
According to the Donkey Kong 64 manual, Chunky is Kiddy Kong's older brother, also making him a cousin to Dixie Kong.

Donkey Kong 64
In Donkey Kong 64 he is one of five playable Kongs (Donkey, Diddy, Tiny and Lanky being the others), and is the final one unlocked (he is found in Frantic Factory). He is represented in this game by the color green (seen on his collectible bananas, Banana Balloons and Banana Coins. His special moves include "Hunky Chunky", which allows him to grow to gargantuan size, and the "Primate Punch", an extra-powerful punch. He is the Kong that delivers the finish blow to King "Krusha" K. Rool in the final boxing match.
Donkey Kong Country 3 (GBA)
In the Game Boy Advance version of Donkey Kong Country 3, Chunky makes an appearance as one of the Kongs that must be saved during Funky Kong's "Protect" minigame.
Trivia
- Although Chunky, like the others, calls for the player's attention while they are selecting a Kong in the Tag Barrel in Donkey Kong 64, if the player actually highlights Chunky, he gasps and protests, instead suggesting they pick Tiny. If the player then deselects Chunky, he will sigh in relief.
