Biography
Clapper is a blue seal and one of the Kong's Animal Buddies.
In The Games
Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest
In Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, Clapper makes his debut. In this game, Clapper appears in the Lava Lagoon level in Crocodile Cauldron and Clapper's Cavern in K. Rool's Keep. When jumped on, Clapper will breathe into water in order to cool it down for the Kongs. In Lava Lagoon, the water is too hot for the Kongs to swim in, so Clapper makes it safe for a certain amount of time. In Clapper's Cavern, Clapper freezes the water so that the player can walk across it as well as having protection from the Snapjaw that lives in the water. Like in Lava Lagoon, this change is temporary.
Donkey Kong Land 2
In Donkey Kong Land 2, Clapper reappears, serving the same purpose as in Donkey Kong Country 2.
