In Banjo-Tooie, Clinkers appear in Grunty Industries. Clinkers are the focus of a mini-game, Clinker's Cavern. In this mini-game, the Clinkers are blocking the factory's air vents and threatening to make the air in the factory toxic to breathe. Twenty of them must be destroyed with Eggs in under a time limit in order to keep the air breathable and earn a Jiggy. Though the Clinker's Cavern is labyrinthine, discovering the locations of the Clinkers is made slightly easier by the flatulent noises they emit.
