The Crocodile is a transformation in the Banjo-Kazooie series.

Banjo-Kazooie

In Banjo-Kazooie, the crocodile transformation is used in Bubblegloop Swamp. It is performed by Mumbo Jumbo for a price of 10 Mumbo Tokens. While Banjo and Kazooie are in crocodile form, their sharp teeth can be used to chomp enemies with a press of the B button. The crocodile transformation is required to enter the giant crocodile head in the level, the lair of Mr. Vile. The crocodile transformation is notable for being the only transformation in Banjo-Kazooie which can attack. It is also the only transformation in the game that can use any powerups: inside the crocodile head, the Turbo Trainers can be used to gain a speed advantage during Mr. Vile's minigame.

The crocodile transformation is also useful in Grunty's Lair. Behind the Bubblegloop Swamp entrance is a hole leading to the Freezeezy Peak painting and a narrow pathway blocked by an ice ball. If the ice ball is destroyed as regular Banjo and Kazooie, the crocodile can squeeze through the small passageway. Inside is Cheato, who will give the "BLUEEGGS" cheat, which allows the duo to carry 200 Blue Eggs total.
