Crocodile Cauldron is the second world of Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. It is located on Crocodile Isle. Crocodile Cauldron is a fiery, volcanic area located inside of a stone Kremling head. This world also introduces Krocheads, crocodile heads which act as platforms in swamp-themed and lava-themed levels. Crocodile Cauldron features a couple of mine shafts and a giant ship submerged in its lava.
At the end of Donkey Kong Country 2, the entire Crocodile Isle, including Crocodile Cauldron, has sunk underwater. This was caused by an explosion which occurred at the Lost World.
Crocodile Cauldron returns in Donkey Kong Land 2, albeit as Krem Cauldron, a fusion of Crocodile Cauldron and Krem Quay. This world, along with the rest of Crocodile Isle, sinks underwater at the end of the game, just like it did in Donkey Kong Country 2.
