Balloon Costs
To be able to race in Darkmoon Caverns, the player must have at least thirty-nine balloons. To do the track's Silver Coin Challenge, the player must have acquired forty-three balloons or more.
Available Vehicles
For the initial race and the Silver Coin Challenge, the player must use a Car.
For single race, the player can also a Hovercraft.
Other
This course's score is the only one not featured on the Japanese Diddy Kong Racing Original Soundtrack.
