Biography

A severe storm had destroyed most on an Elfin entourage as they returned from across the sea, and the Queen of the Tenth Age found herself cast adrift on a distant shot...but not alone, as this desert isle was home to an Elemental Sprite. The Queen had clung to the Wotnot Book like a lifeline even as her fleet faced destruction and was able to capture this sprite, discovering it to be Deep Blue. Deep Blue's abilities kept the rivers and oceans of the land pure and free from disease, as well as providing the Queen with a way back to civilization and her people.^[1]

History and Development

In the Game

Deep Blue is retrieved from a Shadow Troll at the top of Mountain Rise. He is then crucial to navigating the Water Temple, as well as defeating Coralis.

Abilities

• Aqua Cannon - Deep Blue pumps gallons of water onto the field when holding the right trigger while on land.
• Hydro Thrust - Allows Deep Blue to move underwater when the left trigger is held in deep water.
• Aqua Blaster - Pulling the right trigger while underwater releases jelly-fish torpedoes.
• Dragpool - Pulling the left and right triggers while on land allows Deep Blue to drown his foes inside himself if he makes contact.
• Slick Jet - While on land, pulling the left trigger unleashes an oil slick. Can be combined with Ash's flames for great effect.
• Splash Down - An upgrade to Dragpool allowing Deep Blue to grab, slam, or knock foes together with the left and right triggers.

Trivia

• Deep Blue is the only Warrior capable of swimming underwater. Flex skates on top.
• Deep Blue's oil slick can be combined with Ash's flames for devastating results.
• Deep Blue's name is a reference to the ocean itself.
• Deep Blue's underwater torpedoes are shaped like jelly fish.
• Deep Blue was one of the five Warriors condemned to the Shadow Realm by Theena along with Thorn's Troll Lords.
• Deep Blue at one point was able to propel himself forward with his jets on land.
