Dinosaur Planet was a game in development for the Nintendo 64 by Rare. It was originally meant to star a completely original cast of characters. However, when development was moved over to the Nintendo GameCube, Nintendo suggested making it an entry in the Star Fox series, and thus Dinosaur Planet became known as Star Fox Adventures: Dinosaur Planet, and then just before release, simply Star Fox Adventures.
