Dixie Kong is a main recurring character in the Donkey Kong series.

Biography
Dixie is a young female chimpanzee. She has long blond hair tied into a ponytail, and wears a pink beret (sometimes with a Rare pin on it) and shirt. She is able to use her hair as a weapon by whipping it around her, use it in the air like a helicopter blade to slow her descent, and as a way to pick up, carry and throw barrels, crates, etc. She is the girlfriend of Diddy Kong, older sister of Tiny Kong and older cousin of Kiddy Kong. Dixie, like Diddy, is apparently proficient at playing the guitar.

In Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, she appears as the partner to Diddy Kong, joining him in the quest to rescue Donkey Kong from the clutches of Kaptain K. Rool.

Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!
In Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!, Dixie appears as the main character, with her partner being her younger cousin, Kiddy. When Donkey and Diddy go missing while on vacation (having been kidnapped by Baron K. Roolenstein), she sets off to find them, picking up her little cousin on the way.

Relations with other characters
- Donkey Kong: Although they aren't often shown speaking directly, Dixie seems to hold respect for DK, as in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, she insists on going with Diddy to help rescue him, even after Diddy protests her coming because he believes it too dangerous for her.
- Diddy Kong: She is Diddy's girlfriend.
