Donkey Kong Racing is an unreleased racing game for the Nintendo GameCube and is a part of the Donkey Kong series. It was first unveiled at Nintendo's 2001 Spaceworld event, and may have been quite far along in development before being canceled.
It was intended to be a sequel to Diddy Kong Racing, with the handheld counterpart being Diddy Kong Pilot (which became Banjo-Pilot). It is known that Taj was to appear in the game and that, rather than riding vehicles, the character would ride Animal Buddies
The reason for its cancellation is because of the Rare move to Microsoft in 2002. Other than what has been seen in screen shots, not much is known; although it is likely that it was reskinned as the also-unreleased Sabreman Stampede.
