Biography
Ellie is a young female elephant whose trunk is strong enough to hold Barrels and Oil Drums. She has a fear of Sneek rats. She is one of the Kong's Animal Buddies.

Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!
In Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!, Ellie makes her debut, assisting Dixie and Kiddy Kong, the stars of the game. As previously mentioned, she can hold barrels and other such objects with her trunk and then throw them at enemies. She can also suck up water with her trunk and then spit it, to achieve various things. As she is afraid of Sneeks, she will run away from them upon spotting them. Therefore, they must be dealt with from afar by using her trunk to throw a barrel at them. The Stampede Sprint level in the lost world of Krematoa is centered around her fear of the rats. The level is played almost entirely as Ellie. Soon after the level begins, the player encounters a trio of Sneeks, the sight of which sends Ellie into a frenzy, running uncontrollably throughout the level, and she must be safely guided to the end. She also notably fights a boss, Squirt, in Cotton-Top Cove.
Donkey Kong Land III
In Donkey Kong Land III, Ellie returns with a similar role as in DKC3, although she has minor gameplay changes. She will no longer run away at the sight of a Sneek, she can no longer hold barrels in her trunk, and she has an unlimited supply of water which she can squirt out of her trunk, as opposed to DKC3, where she had to find bodies of water to fill her trunk.
