Forward Roll

The Forward Roll is a move in the Banjo-Kazooie series. When utilizing this move, Banjo, while running, curls his body into a ball and rolls ahead briefly, damaging foes in his path.

In Banjo-Kazooie, this basic move is first learned from Bottles in Spiral Mountain. In this game, Banjo performs the Forward Roll on his own and comes to a stop when it finishes.

In Banjo-Tooie, this move returns, although it is slightly modified. In this game, both Banjo and Kazooie are involved in the Roll (meaning it can't be performed while Split-Up), and Banjo is able to continue moving after the Roll finishes.

In Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge, this move is learned from Bozzeye in Cliff Farm for a price of 60 Musical Notes. In this game, the move works much the same as it did in Banjo-Kazooie.

Use

• Banjo-Kazooie: button while running at full speed.
  Banjo-Kazooie (XBLA): button while running at full speed.

• Banjo-Tooie: button while running at full speed.
  Banjo-Tooie (XBLA): button while running at full speed.

• Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge: B button while walking.
