Freezing Furnace

Freezing Furnace is the fifth and final world in Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge. Its entrance, a pipeline and furnace covered in sheets of ice and snow, can be found in Spiral Mere. The furnace itself, called Grunty Industries, can be accessed by entering a cave. Like Freezeezy Peak, this world has icy water that causes damage to Banjo. The octopus transformation is invulnerable to this water. In the beta version of Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge, Freezing Furnace and Grunty Industries were originally separate levels, Freezing Fjord and Fiery Furnace. Kazooie could also learn to fly in this level, before Red Feathers were removed from the final game.

Items and Moves

Jiggys

• Use the Bill Drill near the Biggafoot Statue.
• Play the fishing mini-game inside the igloo.
• Bring Miss Bucket the 7 gold nuggets.
• Located behind the "tank-door" in Grunty Industries.
• Save the snowflakes.
• In the storage room using Wonderwing and Jump pads.
• Spell 'Gruntilda' on the panelled floor.
• Inside the hidden tunnel as an octopus.
• Defeat Klungo inside the large furnace.
• Find all five Jinjos.

Jinjos

The five blue Jinjos of Freezing Furnace can be obtained as follows.

• Melt and Bill Drill the ground near to the statue.
• Found on an ice island.
• Blow up the dynamite (Candle Transformation required).
• Located north-east of Grunty's Industries.
• Situated on the oil.

Extra Honeycombs

• Located south of the entrance as an octopus.
• Found in the Storage Room.

Moves

• Ice Eggs (470 notes)

Transformation

As of Freezing Furnace, Mumbo Jumbo is capable of turning Banjo and Kazooie into the Tank Transformation.

Boss Battle

Klungo can be found in the Grunty Industries furnace. He sends out small red minions that latch onto Banjo and Kazooie in order to cause damage (these can be knocked off by repeatedly turning left and right in rapid succession). Klungo also has the ability of throwing potions.
