The Game Boy Advance SP is an updated version of Nintendo's Game Boy Advance. The changes include a massive redesign and a builtin backlight for the screen. As of March 31, 2008, The Game Boy Advance SP has sold 43.23 million units world wide.

The Game Boy Advance SP is completely backwards compaitble with Game Boy and Game Boy Color games.
