Glitter Gulch Mine is the second word in Banjo-Tooie. It is based around a mine with stacks of diamonds, a Crushing Shed, and an Ordnance Storage. Bullion Bill, Canary Mary (before she flies to Cloud Cuckooland), and Chuffy live here.
Mumbo casts Levitation, which brings Chuffy on his tracks and moves the Jiggy Boulder into the Crushing Shed. Wumba transforms Banjo into a Detonator. The boss is Old King Coal.

Jiggies
The Jiggies available in Glitter Gulch Mine are:
- Found on top of the Waterfall Cavern.
- Found inside the Jiggy Boulder by crushing it.
- Found at the end of the generator room.
- Attained by beating the Ordance Storage minigame.
- Attained by beating Canary Mary in a race.
- Attained by reuniting Bullion Bill and Dilberta.
- Found at the end of the underground pipe system.
- Attained by defeating Old King Coal.
- Found at the end of the Power Shed.
- Attained by jumping with Springy Step Shoes to the waterfall.
Jinjos
The Jinjos found here are:
- In the Toxic Gas Cave.
- On the handcar railway.
- Under a boulder near the Train Station.
- In a jail cell, opened with the Detonator.
- On top of the inaccessable Water Tank (must go through Jolly Roger's Lagoon).

- Under a rock outside the Prospector's Hut (Bill Drill required).
- Under a rock in the Toxic Gas Cave (Bill Drill required).
- Inside a Rare crate in the Train Station.
Cheato Pages
- Located on the "Glitter Gulch Mine" sign directly at the start of the level.
- Inside a storage tank in the Water Storage area.
- Rewarded for beating Canary Mary's race a second time.
Landmarks
- Crushing Shed: A building that has capabilities to crush the Jiggy Boulder.
- Train Station: The first train Station. This is where Chuffy is found. Also the battle scene for Old King Coal.
- Ordnance Storage: A TNT storage mine. A Breegull Blaster challenge takes place here in which you must diffuse 15 TNT sticks before they explode.
Trivia
- Glitter Gulch Mine was originally planned to be a level in Banjo-Kazooie.[1]
- Canary Mary's races were originally based on control stick rotation, but this was found to cause injuries to the hands of those playing, which caused them to become button-based.[1]
