Gloomy Gulch is the fifth world of Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. This world is a haunted area located on Crocodile Isle. This world has some undead Kremlings who inhabit this world: Ghost Ropes and Kloaks lurk in the world's haunted woods, while skeletal ghosts named Kackles hang around at Haunted Hall. There is even a wasp hive (Parrot Chute Panic) where Zingers lay about.
At the end of Donkey Kong Country 2, the Lost World explodes. This caused the entire Crocodile Isle, including Gloomy Gulch, to sink underwater.
Gloomy Gulch reprises its role in Donkey Kong Land 2. Gloomy Gulch is the fourth world of the game, because of the second world Krem Cauldron (a fusion of Crocodile Cauldron and Krem Quay). Haunted Hall and the Kackle who lurked in it were removed from Gloomy Gulch. This led to Gloomy Gulch being replaced with Krazy Koaster, a generic rollercoaster level. As shown on the world map, Klubba's Kiosk is located left of this world. Gloomy Gulch and Crocodile Isle sink underwater at the end of the game, much like Donkey Kong Country 2.
