Description
Grille Chompas are strange creatures resembling large slugs that hide in broken grilles and grates. Variations include the Portrait Chompa and the Big Clucker.
In the Games
Banjo-Kazooie
In Banjo-Kazooie, Grille Chompas appear in Clanker's Cavern. When Banjo approaches a grille where a Chompa is hiding, it will growl. If Banjo gets too close, the Chompa will stick its head out and chomp three times in an attempt to harm him. Chompas can be killed easily by using a Rat-a-Tat Rap as soon as they stick they expose themselves. Grille Chompas also later appear in Rusty Bucket Bay.
Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge
In Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge, Grille Chompas return. They are much the same in this game as they were in Banjo-Kazooie.
