Description
Gruntlings are Gruntilda's generic foot-soldiers. They are large, neanderthalic goblins wearing cloaks with skulls imprinted upon the back. Gruntlings are ranked by the color of said cloaks: red Gruntlings are the weakest, blue Gruntlings are stronger, and black Gruntlings are the strongest.
In the Games
Banjo-Kazooie
In Banjo-Kazooie, Gruntlings roam about Gruntilda's Lair, seeming to serve as the main guardians of her home.
Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge
In Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge, Gruntlings (presumably brought back to the past by Grunty) appear in Spiral Mountain.
