Biography
Kiddy Kong is a toddler-aged gorilla who wears blue footed pajamas and a pacifier around his neck. He is exceptionally strong for his age, his power rivaling that of Donkey Kong's. He is the younger cousin of Dixie Kong and younger brother of Chunky Kong.
In the Games
Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!
In Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!, Kiddy Kong serves as the secondary playable character in the game. He first appears early in the game after Dixie arrives in Funky's garage. Funky tells Dixie to take Kiddy along with her, as his strength will no doubt prove helpful. Indeed, Kiddy is useful in multiple areas of the game due to his strength, being able to break cracked areas in floors by having Dixie slam him on top of them. He is also slower than Dixie and lacks her hovering ability. However, he has the ability to skip on top of bodies of water if the player rolls off the edge of the land and presses the jump button as soon as he touches the surface of the water.
Donkey Kong Land III
In Donkey Kong Land III, Kiddy embarks on another adventure with Dixie in a competition to find the Lost World. Kiddy serves the same gameplay purpose as before; serving as the brute strength of the team.
Other
The only other confirmed appearance of Kiddy Kong was to be in Donkey Kong Racing for the Nintendo GameCube. However, after the buyout of Rare by Microsoft in 2002, Donkey Kong Racing was scrapped.
