In The Games
Donkey Kong Country 2
In Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, Kleever is the boss of Crocodile Cauldron. At first Kleever will shoot fireballs at the position the player is at the time of shooting. Eventually, a cannon ball will fall. The player must throw it at Kleever. When Kleever is attacked, hooks will fall down. This allows the player to get to the other side but Kleever will chase the player across, swiping madly. Repeat this process twice more and Kleever will change its attacks. it will come out of the lava and move freely. It will attempt to attack the player. There are a lot more hooks that the player can use to get across. There are also two Banana Coins in the top right corner of the area. There will be cannonballs on the sides like the previous phase so the player must hit Kleever with these thrice again. At the end, Kleever's blade will explode causing it to spin around shooting out fire whilst its bones fall to the ground. The player gets a Kremcoin and access to Krem Quay.
Donkey Kong Land 2
In Donkey Kong Land 2, Kleever is the boss of Krem Cauldron. Kleever will shoot fireballs at the player. Eventually, it will shoot a barrel. The player must use the cannonball from inside the barrel and use it to attack Kleever. The player must then travel across to the other side via Croc-Heads. This process wil repeat once more. Kleever will fly around and try to stab the player. The player must use a cannon to shoot Kleever. The player then travels across the lava and repeats. Kleever is then finished.
