Description
Krackas are a subset of the Knocka baddies. They are red Kremlings that live in TNT Barrels with smiling mouths painted on them, essentially land-based Klasps. They are identical in function to Kaboom.
In the Games
Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!
In the Super Nintendo version of Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!, Krackas are unused enemies that have been coded into the game, but never appear in any of the levels. Why they remained unused is unknown.
In the Game Boy Advance version of Donkey Kong Country 3, however, Krackas appear as enemies in the Stormy Seas level of the GBA-exclusive Pacifica world. They attack Dixie and Kiddy Kong by charging into them and then blowing up. Much like the regular Knockas, Krackas can be defeated through jumping on them and then picking up their barrel and throwing it, or by luring them off a ledge into a bottomless pit.
Trivia
- Though these enemies are never named in-game in either version, internally, the game's code refers to them as "Kracka."
