Kosha

Kosha is a baddy in the Donkey Kong series.

Description

Koshas are short-statured Kremlings wearing Viking helmets, loincloths and sandals. They carry around huge spiked clubs which they use to attack.

In the Games

Donkey Kong 64

In Donkey Kong 64, Koshas appear in Gloomy Galleon, Fungi Forest, Crystal Caves, and Creepy Castle. Koshas attack by swinging their gigantic clubs. If the club hits the player's current Kong, they lose two slices of watermelon health. If they are unsuccessful, the Kosha will be temporarily distracted as he attempts to pick his hammer back up. The only way to defeat Koshas is by throwing Orange grenades at them while they are distracted, using the Kongs' musical attacks, or using the shockwave attack which is given to the Kongs by the Queen Banana Fairy.

A giant Kosha also appears in Crystal Caves. He uses his club to cause avalanches from the top of the cave. After Tiny Kong defeats him, the avalanches cease and the Kongs can traverse the caves more safely.
