Description
Krashes are reckless Kremlings riding minecarts.
In the Games
Donkey Kong Country
In Donkey Kong Country, Krashes appear in each of the games minecart levels. Design-wise, they resemble the Kritters. They ride along the track at certain points and attempt to crash into the minecart that Donkey and Diddy Kong are riding in. In most levels, they cannot be defeated, only avoided (by jumping at the right time). However, in one level, Mine Cart Madness, the Krash's carts sit in one place and so they can be defeated and their cart can be taken over.
Donkey Kong 64
In Donkey Kong 64, a different kind of Krash appears in the minecart stages. This type resembles Klubba, and similarly wields a large wooden club. They ride on the tracks opposite the one that the player's Kong is currently on and attempt to whack them with their clubs, which makes them drop some of their collected coins. As before, Krashes cannot be defeated, only avoided.
