Description
Kritters are the foot soldiers of the Kremling Krew and are the most common type of Kremling.
In the Games
Donkey Kong Country
Kritters first appear in Donkey Kong Country.
In the game, Kritters wear shoulder and knee pads. They are the first type of Kremling encountered. Green Kritters simply walk aimlessly to the left and right, but Kritters of other colors bounce around. They can be defeated by tossing a barrel at them, jumping on their heads, rolling into them, or letting them walk into a bottomless pit.
Donkey Kong Land
Kritters reappear in Donkey Kong Land with the same behavior. The Game Boy's hardware limitations are the cause for all Kritters being the same color.
Donkey Kong 64
Kritters reprise in Donkey Kong 64. In the game they wear black vests with skulls on them and black belts with skull belt buckles. They usually attack by punching and then biting the player's character. Kritters are oftentimes found on King K. Rool's ship.
