Kudgel is a boss character in the Donkey Kong series.

Biography

Kudgel is the boss of the Krem Quay area of Crocodile Isle. Kudgel is a large, strong, grey Kremling. He may have connections with the Kremling, Klubba, as they share the same model but with different colours. Kudgel is the third boss in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. He is the only boss from Donkey Kong Country 2 that doesn't also make an appearance in Donkey Kong Land 2.

Kudgel will jump into the air, out of the screen, before coming crashing down to wherever the player was standing at the time. If the player is on the ground anywhere when Kudgel lands, they will be stunned momentarily. Kudgel will jump three times before attacking with his large club in the direction of the player and making an explosive barrel appear. The player can then use it to throw at Kudgel. If this process is repeated twice, Kudgel shall change his attacks. Instead of three lengthy jumps, Kudgel will do four small jumps towards the player whilst staying on the screen. When he's done jumping he will attack with his club and create and explosive barrel. Once the player attacks Kudgel three more times, Kudgel will be defeated. The player will get a Kremkoin and gain access to Krazy Kremland.
