Biography
Lanky is an orangutan who wears a white shirt and blue pants with suspenders and has a face resembling that of a clown. Lanky is the strangest of the Kong family members, and his exact relation to the Kong family is unknown (in the Donkey Kong 64 manual, Cranky speculates him to be a "distant cousin"). Lanky is named for his disproportionately long arms, which are useful for attacking foes and allow him to perform acrobatic feats that the other Kongs are unable to pull off.
In the Games
Donkey Kong 64
In Donkey Kong 64 he is one of five playable Kongs (Donkey, Diddy, Tiny and Chunky being the others), and is the unlocked in Angry Aztec. He is represented in this game by the color blue (seen on his collectible bananas, Banana Balloons and Banana Coins). His special moves include "OrangStand," which allows him to walk using his hands, and the "Baboon Balloon," which allows him to inflate himself and temporarily float upwards.
Donkey Kong Country 3 (GBA)
In the Game Boy Advance version of Donkey Kong Country 3, Lanky makes an appearance as one of the Kongs that must be saved during Funky Kong's "Protect" minigame.
