Lockup is a baddy in the Banjo-Kazooie series.
Description
Lockups are large, immobile treasure chests with googly eyes and teeth.
In the Games
Banjo-Kazooie
In Banjo-Kazooie, Lockups appear in Treasure Trove Cove. Lockups attack by opening their mouths and then chomping down. They cannot be defeated, although Banjo can jump inside them when their mouths are open. Lockups always contain items, such as Musical Notes, Mumbo Tokens, Red Feathers, and, on one occasion, a Jiggy belonging to Gruntilda.
Little Lockup is a small Lockup who challenges Banjo to find his buried treasure.
