Biography

Moggy is a young male polar bear. He commonly wears a red hat and t-shirt. He is one of three children of Boggy and Mrs. Boggy. His brother is Groggy and his sister is Soggy.

In the Games

Banjo-Kazooie

In Banjo-Kazooie, Moggy appears with his siblings in Boggy's igloo in Freezeezy Peak. The kids have lost their presents, one for each child, which must be found within the level and returned to the kids. After all the presents are returned, Groggy, Soggy, and Moggy give Banjo and Kazooie a Jiggy in return. A point to note is that all of Boggy's children in this game look the same except for the color of their clothing.

Banjo-Tooie

In Banjo-Tooie, Moggy first appears in Witchyworld, along with his mother and two siblings. Moggy, Groggy and Soggy have run away from their mother to different sections of the amusement park. The locations they each appear in are randomized, but can be inside the Inferno, inside the Cave of Horrors, next to the Dodgem Dome, inside the Train Station, or in the Western Zone. In order to get Moggy to go back to his mother, Banjo and Kazooie must attack him. After all three children return to their mother, Banjo and Kazooie earn a Jiggy and the family leaves the amusement park. Moggy later appears in Hailfire Peaks in his home along with Groggy, Soggy, Boggy and Mrs. Boggy.

Other

Moggy and his siblings were originally confirmed to appear in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts (from an official wallpaper of various characters' heads and a voice clip labeled "boggykid" from the official website), though they were cut from the game. According to Shaun Read in Scribes, Moggy and his siblings were originally supposed to appear with Boggy as part of a challenge called "Don't Bring Your Kids to Work Day," however, the challenge was dropped late in development in order to implement other ideas that came about.[1]
