Description
Mugly is a large, overweight yellow reptile. He is a resident of Donkey Kong Island.

Donkey Kong Country Returns
In Donkey Kong Country Returns, Mugly is the game's first boss, fought at his level, Mugly's Mound. He is one of the many island's animals who have fallen under the evil Tikis' hypnotic spell and been turned against the Kongs.
When Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong arrive at Mugly's Mound, they see Mugly chowing down on a pile of the Kongs' stolen bananas. Mugly nervously turns around to see DK and Diddy glaring at him, and a Tiki nearby takes possession of Mugly's mind, causing him to attack DK and Diddy.[1]
