Ties to Rare
Rare, founded in 1982 by Tim and Chris Stamper, was a second-party developer for the Nintendo gaming platforms for twenty years. The success of Rare's games with Nintendo has shown in such classics as GoldenEye 007, Banjo-Kazooie, and Perfect Dark. In 2002, Rare was acquired by Microsoft, and have not found the same success as they've had with Nintendo.
