Description

The Nintendo Coin is a large silver coin with the Nintendo 64 logo imprinted upon it.

In the Games

Donkey Kong 64

In Donkey Kong 64, the Nintendo Coin becomes available after the player beats the original Donkey Kong arcade game once in Frantic Factory. Squawks will fly in to reveal that the game can be played again for a new "special" prize. When the DK arcade game is played again, the game's harder second mode is activated and Pauline's sprite is replaced by one of the Nintendo coin. If the player beats the game once more, the Nintendo Coin will be theirs. The Nintendo Coin, along with the Rareware Coin, is required to finish Hideout Helm.
