The successor of the Nintendo DS, it is drastically smaller and thinner than the original. It has a larger stylus and its battery: With the brightest setting, it lasts up to 8 hours, and with the lowest it can last up to 19. It is also more resistant to damage, although there have been some cases where the hinges connecting the lower screen to the top screen may break, even without receiving any damage. It is estimated to have sold 214.34 Million copies worldwide.
