Using the Service

Games that take advantage of Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection integrate the service into the spefic game. After selecting Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection in the game menu, you are connected to the service. In most games, the service uses match-making to find an opponent, or opponents, to play against. Friend codes are assigned to every player that uses the NWC. The friend codes are specific to the player and the game. The codes allow a player to store a list of friends with the same game and play with them when both are online.
