In Banjo-Tooie, Nip-nips appear in the Temple of the Fishes in Jolly Roger's Lagoon, attempting to bite Chris P. Bacon as he tries to take pictures of the art on the walls. Banjo and Kazooie must protect Chris by shooting the fish as they appear. If they can keep the Nip-nips from biting him long enough for him to photograph the walls, they will earn a Jiggy.
