This is an informational list of notable RWP forum games. The RWPF has always had some kind of Forum Game/RPG board, and this is a list of the most popular ones, by the era they first appeared in.

  • What Would You Do If...: Probably the most popular forum game EVER on the RWP was "What Would You Do If..." Originally started by Bolt Dragoon in 2001. In WWYDI, users post a "What Would You Do If" question. The following person answers the question with what they would do in the situation, and post their own WWYDI question. The latest WWYDI thread was WWYDI: Volume 12.

The UBB Era

  • On-going Story: Once Sentence at a Time: Originally started by a member named "SomePerson." This topic and its sequel were hugely popular on the UBB. Both lasted for a long time and were quite popular. The original started with one simple sentence: "Once there was a pile of sand." Users were told to continue from there and did...with strange and hilarious results. An Internet Archive copy of the first page of the original topic can be found here, and the sequel here.   • Banjo-Kazooie 4: The Return of Mingy Jongo: started by John as a sequel to another RPG of his. An Internet Archive copy of the first page can be found here.

The VBulletin Era

  • If You Were A ... What Would You Do?: An offshoot of WWYDI by ice god. A user posts an object and asks "If you were (object), what would you do?" The following user would answer, then continue with a question of his own. Popular for a time. The original topic
  • The Word Game: A "word association" game by Kastro. The original topic

Forum RPGs

  • A Banjo RPG: This RPG with a simple title and a simple premise by Bottles98 turned out hugely popular. It starts with Bottles98, along wityh Banjo, Kazooie, and a few other members searching for the Stop 'n' Swop items. Bottles98 himself lost track of it shortly after it started, but all others involved kept it alive for more than a year. The original topic
