Nutty Acres is the first of five game worlds in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. The level features the look of an artificial meadow made out of cardboard, paper and fabric. It also features a mechanical look with gears, cogs, pipes, girders and an artificial sky broadcast on large HD screens.

According to the Lord of Games, Nutty Acres is the farm owned by Mumbo and Humba and the entire area of the level is the Nutty Island. Nutty Acres' nuts are famous for being the best and toughest nuts around, winning the farm the "Golden Nut" award. Nutty Acres also features the "Loco Coco" tree, which produces the largest and hardest of the coconuts, but only once per year. Other notable locations include the large volcano, and Mumbo's Nuts, a garden area where most of the coconuts are grown.

Description: The volcano has belched out massive fireballs which are spewing coconut-suffocating gas into the air. Get the rocks into water to cool them down before they ruin this season's crop. (Player's Choice)

Coconut Circuits

Host: Trophy Thomas
Description: A land-based race against T.T. around Nutty Acres. You'll need your fastest vehicle to defeat the overly competitive cat. (Player's Choice)

• Jiggy: Finish in first place in under 3 minutes and 50 seconds.
• T.T. Trophy: Finish in first place in under 1 minute and 55 seconds.

Tick, Tick, Bang!

Host: Mumbo Jumbo
Description: Take the ticking bomb over to Bottles. You'll find the mole at his airfield on the side of the volcano, and I'd strongly recommend you get there before the bomb's timer runs out. (L.O.G.'s Choice)

High Jinks

Description: Bottles' flight training involves a series of tasks which must be completed in turn. Listen to the mole's instructions, and complete the training as fast as you can. (L.O.G.'s Choice)

• T.T. Trophy: Complete the challenge in under 2 minutes and 10 seconds.

Vac-O-Nuts

Host: Klungo
Description: Gruntbots have attacked the orchard and are eating the coconut crop. Save the harvest and Klungo's hide by bringing enough coconuts back to the hopper in the farmyard. (L.O.G.'s Choice)

• Jiggy: Collect 14 coconuts in under 3 minutes and 30 seconds.
• T.T. Trophy: Collect 14 coconuts in under 2 minutes.

Fighting Fit

Host: Mr. Fit
Description: Mr. Fit is being attacked on his morning jog and he needs protection. Either defend Mr. Fit or attack the Gruntbots, the choice is yours. Why not try both? (Player's Choice)

Save Our Statue

Description: Grunty has sent waves of flying Gruntbots to attack the prized Hardest Nuts statue. You'll need a vehicle that can either defend the statue or take the attack to the Gruntbots. (Player's Choice)

• Jiggy: Finish with at least 200 health left on the statue
• T.T. Trophy: Finish with at least 800 health left on the statue.

Leaky Waterworks

Host: Trophy Thomas
Description: Bung up the water pipes before the coconut harvest runs dry! A vehicle that can carry things might be useful, and I'm sure lots of objects would fit into those pipes. (Player's Choice)

• Jiggy: Complete the challenge with at least 1 minute and 30 seconds remaining.
• T.T. Trophy: Complete the challenge with at least 3 minutes remaining.

Farmhand of the Year

Host: Mr. Fit
Description: From the top of the giant crate pile, Mumbo's finest coconuts need to be collected and put into the farmhand hopper. Larger coconuts are worth more points but take up more space. (Player's Choice)

• Jiggy: Finish with at least 1000 points.
• T.T. Trophy: Finish with at least 2500 points.

Beat the Fleet

Host: Mumbo Jumbo
Description: Grunty has sent an armada of Gruntbot ships to attack the farm by sea. One idea would be to use a floating water vehicle with an attacking ability to destroy them all. (Player's Choice)

• Jiggy: Complete the challenge in under 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
• T.T. Trophy: Complete the challenge in under 1 minute and 5 seconds.

Hard Boiled Egg

Host: Klungo
Description: Cook Klungo's breakfast by heating up the egg and taking it back to him, but don't break it! You'll need a vehicle that can safely transport the fragile egg safely. (Player's Choice)

• T.T. Trophy: Complete the challenge in under 2 minutes.

Old Dog, New Tricks

Host: Humba Wumba
Description: Banjo-Tooie's Mr. Patch is blocking the sunlight above the farm. Use a flying vehicle with an attacking ability to blow off his patches and deflate the washed-up windbag. (Player's Choice)

Freewheel Festival

Host: Trophy Thomas
Description: Travel as far as you can before coming to a stop. All your vehicle's abilities apart from steering will be frozen when you begin, so try to choose something that will roll a long way. (Player's Choice)

• Jiggy: Complete the challenge with at least 800 points.
• T.T. Trophy: Complete the challenge with at least 1500 points.

Riverbed Head to Head

Host: Klungo
Description: Race along the dried-up riverbed. My recommendation would be a fast land vehicle that can take a few knocks. (Player's Choice)

• T.T. Trophy: Finish in first place in under 2 minutes.

Nuts to Go

Host: Humba Wumba
Description: Firstly, take the coconuts to Mumbo at the beach dunes for authorization. Then take them to the pier to be shipped. You'll need a vehicle capable of mass transport work. (L.O.G.'s Choice)

Makin' Waves

Host: Mr. Fit
Description: This is a water race around the scenic splendor of Nutty Acres island. No time to admire he view, as you'll be using your fast floating vehicle to secure first place. (Player's Choice)

• T.T. Trophy: Finish in first place in under 1 minute and 30 seconds.

Trivia

• The level's introduction sequence is a spoof of the introduction to the television show Dallas.
• Nutty Acres' musical theme has a small portion of Treasure Trove Cove's music from Banjo-Kazooie mixed in. The main challenge theme also features a nod to the "Fun 'n' Games" musical track from Banjo-Tooie. The "alternate" challenge variation contains a portion of the Banjo-Kazooie main theme.
