The Octopus is a transformation in the Banjo-Kazooie series.

Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge
In Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge, the octopus is first used in Spiller's Harbor. It is the only transformation that can travel in water, and is also unaffected by poisonous or cold water, rendering it rather useful. It can also shoot a water blast to destroy enemies. It aids Banjo and Kazooie for it is used to collect various jiggies and jinjos contributing toward the world totals.
