Description

The Peanut Popguns are a pair of wooden guns developed by Funky Kong for Diddy Kong. As the name implies, they fire peanuts.

In the Games

Donkey Kong 64

In Donkey Kong 64, Diddy can buy the Peanut Popguns from Funky in the game's first level, Jungle Japes. The player can activate them with and , and then fire with . Holding while the Popguns are drawn will cause Diddy to stand firmly in place, allowing the player to spin him around on his axis. The player can also use to enter first-person view mode, in order to aim more precisely at targets.

Donkey Kong Country Returns

In Donkey Kong Country Returns, Diddy is able to use a single Peanut Popgun as one of his attacks.

Other appearances

In Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Diddy appears as a playable character, and the Peanut Popguns serve as one of his signature moves. They also appear as a trophy in the game.
