The Perfect Dark Dual CD Soundtrack was released in 2000 on Compact Disc. The soundtrack CD was only available to subscribers of Nintendo Power - Nintendo's official magazine - via its Power Supplies supplement. The first disc contains 19 songs, and the second disc contains 17 songs. For level music, the "normal" version of the song plays once, then switches to the "X" version, which plays once and fades out. Most of the other songs play twice and then fade out. There are two notable exceptions to this. The first is the "Credits" song on disc two: instead of fading out, it ends with Cassandra De Vries saying, "Good night, Miss Dark." The second is "Combat Simulator Fail" (also on disc two), which ends with Joanna Dark saying, "Switch this thing off!"

The music on this soundtrack was composed by Grant Kirkhope, David Clynick, and Graeme Norgate (uncredited).
