Contents |
Biography
A description of the character's personality, physical appearance, quirks, etc. Mentions of the character's home and family and friends as well, when applicable.
History and development
A recap of the character's development and creation, if the information is available from staff interviews, etc.
In the Games
Game 1
In Game 1, a description of the character's role in the first game they appear in. Obviously, each game has a separate subsection.
A note should be made that ports/remakes of video games only get sections on character pages if they are significantly different from their original counterpart. For example, an extra section about Tiptup's appearance in Banjo-Kazooie (XBLA) would not be appropriate, but noting that Tiny Kong appears in Diddy Kong Racing DS, but not Diddy Kong Racing would be appropriate.
If a character does not physically appear in a game, but is mentioned by another character, appears as a portrait on a wall/statue/etc., then list that game on the character's page and label the subsection "Game 1 (Cameo)" and describe the cameo appearance(s) the character makes in the game. If a character only has a cameo in a game, do not add them to that game's "characters" category.
