Description
The Rareware Coin is a large silver coin with the Rare logo imprinted upon it.
In the Games
Donkey Kong 64
In Donkey Kong 64, the Rareware Coin becomes collected after the player gets 5000 points in Jetpac, which is found in Cranky's Lab. After giving Cranky 15 Banana Medals, the player will be allowed to play Jetpac. When the player gains 5000 points by grabbing items that fall from the top of the screen, the coin will fall down. After the player collects the coin and dies, it will appear in the in-game inventory. The Rareware Coin, along with the Nintendo Coin, is required to finish Hideout Helm.
Diddy Kong Racing DS
In Diddy Kong Racing DS, different Rare Coins appear. These Rare Coins are smaller, colored differently, and more common. They replace the bananas from the original Diddy Kong Racing and can be used to buy special unlockable tracks, characters, and features from Taj in his tent.
