Description

The Red Secret Egg is one of the seven Stop 'n' Swop items. It is a large, spinning red egg with large white question marks imprinted on it.

In the Games

Banjo-Kazooie

The Red Secret Egg is one of the Stop 'n' Swop Eggs that is not shown to the player normally. It is absent from the ending scene where Mumbo shows off the Ice Key, Pink Secret Egg and Blue Secret Egg. The only way it can be seen is by typing in its code, "CHEAT THIS SECRET YOULL BE GRABBIN IN THE CAPTAINS CABIN," into the Sandcastle in Treasure Trove Cove. After typing in this code, the Egg appears in the Captain's Cabin in Rusty Bucket Bay. In Banjo-Kazooie XBLA, entering the code will cause the file currently in use to stop saving, disable Achievements and remove the player from the Leaderboards until the game is reset. Instead, the Red Secret Egg will be available once the game detects a save file for Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts.

Banjo-Tooie

In the original version of Banjo-Tooie, the Red Secret Egg was not available. However, the Red Secret Egg is featured in the Xbox Live Arcade port of the game and, like the other Eggs, is hatched by Heggy. The prize that the Red Secret Egg rewards depends on the order the Eggs are hatched, as in this version, prizes are not tied to a specific Egg. Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts

In Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, a Red Secret Egg marker can be found in Showdown Town. When the Red Secret Egg is collected in Banjo-Kazooie XBLA, a Stop 'n' Swop Crate appears on it, containing the Disco Ball vehicle part. Additionally, in the Banjoland game world, there are fake Red Secret Eggs that contain Gruntbots.
