Description
Rippers are large, animated gravestones with googly eyes. Their name comes from "R.I.P.," a common abbreviation on gravestones meaning "rest in peace."
In the Games
Banjo-Kazooie
In Banjo-Kazooie, Rippers appear in Mad Monster Mansion. From afar, they look like typical gravestones, although when Banjo approaches, they will come to life and chase after him. Rippers take two hits from regular attacks to defeat, but can be defeated instantly with the Wonderwing. Rippers also appear in the Mad Monster Mansion lobby in Gruntilda's Lair.
Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts (Cameo)
In Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, cardboard replicas of the Rippers appear in the Mad Monster Mansion section of Banjoland.
